My Cheap but Beautiful Guitar Page...
My Collection does not hold any expensive Guitars because I can,t afford them....I get great pleasure from my Guitars because they are cheap or old...

Encore EIBTR & Squire Affinity Strat
The Encore was my first guitar. It is a very comfortable guitar to play and is extremely good value for money. The action is good although the tone quality is limited.

The Squire Strat is comfortable to play with a good action.I get some really good sounds from this guitar....

Hohner L59....
I couldn,t believe my luck when I saw this beauty in a shop window with a 50 pound sterling price tag...It is an ideal Blues Guitar. With light strings and low action I can get some great bends. It is in immaculate condition {see what others think.Go to my Links Page And click on to guitar name...
Commodore 335-Copy...
This stunner was in the same shop window on a later visit with a price tag of 60 pounds sterling...As with the Hohner I did not have to do any work on this guitar, it is in beautiful condition although the action is a bit high and needs adjusting...

Yamaha FG400A Accoustic...
Gill bought me this Guitar for a Xmas present. It is second hand and is about {I think}10 years old and is lovely to play with a smooth finger-board...

I,ve played newer models but they don,t come close to mine.Is it because its been used more and worn giving it a comfortable feel?

Hofner 455 Arch-top...
This Beauty is the pride of my collection.I paid 25 pounds for it {including hard case}.It was in a shabby condition. The bridge was broken so I carved the missing bit and glued it on.The 13th fretwire had been removed and a hole drilled thru the finger board and out under the heel. A large bolt was installed {protruding out of the heel} to secure the kneck to the body {I assume}.I repaired this and also refitted the scratchplate. The Logo on the headstock is missing. {anyone got a spare?}
Moreno Accoustic...
I bought this Guitar at a Car Boot Sale for 2 Pounds Sterling. It was in poor health with a split back,no bridge, some broken tuners. The Label inside reads "Moreno Made In Saxony". I understand that this would be the old East Germany. It is slightly larger than a Parlour Guitar and is arched back and front..I have tuned it down to D to lighten the tension on its fragile body...

I,m not happy with my restoration work...I,m going to start again. It deserves it....

Home-Made Resophonic...
I can,t afford a Reso so I have made one .I am not a Luthier {not even close}So I cannibalised an old, battered East German Mussima Accoustic with a beautiful neck.{for details see my Reso Page}....
EPIPHONE LP 100
I have recently bought a s/h EPIPHONE L100.  It has a thinner body than the other Les Paul models and is therefore much lighter and more comfortable.

I find I,m playing this guitar more than the others at the moment it has a wonderful feel to it and so good to play..

MARLIN LONER....
Bought this Guitar in an antique market for 65 pounds sterling. It is in beautiful condition and nice to playDon,t know much about it other than it was made in a Welsh Factory..I need to do some research on it....

Logo sticker on Marlin Loner....
The sticker on the body of the Marlin seems to have been put on at the factory...It reads; "THE FUTURE FACTORY"..I wonder if it increases the value...
