The sound of the Reso, especially played with a slide, is magical and I would love to own one, but I am not likely to find one for around 50 quid so I decided to build one. The design is of wooden body with alloy Cone and cover similar {loosely!!!}to the Guitars in the Photo...

How did I make a Resonator Guitar/...
I picked up an old Mussima accoustic at a car Boot Sale.The body was battered but the neck and headstock was beautiful. I decided that this would be an ideal guitar to cannibalise for my Reso.
